First Impressions Team
This team is responsible for ensuring every person who comes to our church feels welcome and cared for. Many churches call this a greeting team. Smiles and friendly faces required!
Worship production team
This team is responsible for making sure Sunday mornings are distraction-free and accessible. Includes audio and video techs, producers, and musicians. Some skill required depending on the job, but training is provided.
KidsLand team
This team is responsible for nursery through 5th grade. Ensures children are building meaningful relationships with caring adults. There are up-front and behind the scenes jobs available. Must have a passion for children.
Student Ministry team
This team is responsible for 6th - 12th grade. Ensures teenagers are building meaningful relationships with caring adults. There are up-front and behind the scenes jobs available.
Cancer Fighters united
Cancer fighters is a ministry run out of Highland Christian Church, but is its own organization. We partner with them however possible.
BackPack ministry
The Backpack Ministry is geared toward providing food for children in need in the Maysville area. This team is constantly accepting non-perishable food items with the exception of food containing peanut products.
Event Team
This team is responsible for planning, implementing, and marketing our three or four large scale events per year. Must be a planner and have great follow-through skills!
Creative Team
This team is responsible for planning creative elements for Sunday morning worship services. This includes stage and set design and creative elements within services.
Maintenance
This team is responsible for building upkeep and maintenance. Some handyman skills needed, but mostly just a willingness to come help!
Lawn care
This team is responsible for ensuring the lawn gets mowed every week. This is not a weekly commitment, but rather a commitment to be a team to mow occasionally.
Landscaping
This team is responsible for ensuring our landscaping looks great throughout the year. This is not an ongoing commitment, but rather a commitment to help out a couple times per year to refresh our landscaping.
